Enjoy high level instruction in sports at Belvoir Terrace. Most campers choose several sports classes to balance their day. In the heated swimming pool ten qualified swim instructors teach all of the Red Cross Swimming Courses plus synchronized swimming. Competitive swimming is a popular choice with many swimmers enjoying comp swim daily. Swimmers can improve water confidence and technique, increase fitness, compete in swim meets with other camps and perform in swim displays. The Belvoir swim team is undefeated now for more than ten seasons. There is also daily recreational swimming in the beautiful pools at Belvoir Terrace.

Tennis is a popular sport with the six tennis courts staffed by eight skilled coaches. Many campers begin tennis at Belvoir while advanced players are challenged by team coaching and tournament play. Campers may choose daily tennis classes or even spend two or three hours a day on the courts or in any other sports class.

Excellent riding facilities are available at a nearby stable. Two state certified riding staff teach small classes of hunt style seat with opportunities for indoor and outdoor ring riding, trail rides and horse shows. Campers ride three or six times per week.

Belvoir also offers several team sports! The soccer class plays at the bottom of the Belvoir lawn and also on a nearby school field. Fitness includes running and biking in Lenox along with aerobic and strengthening activities at camp. Basketball is enjoyed by enthusiasts along with archery in a newly created archery area. Volleyball is also popular with two professional coaches. An outdoor education program is offered for younger campers which includes nature study, outdoor cooking, hiking, canoeing at Camp Greylock, and a week of ropes course training.
